40 years of history
Our history began in 1978 with the establishment of an artisan company specializing in the production of ready-made and packaged tramezzini, sandwiches and snacks. From the beginning our goal has been to guarantee the consumer a healthy, wholesome product of controlled and certified quality. Through our passion and artisanal tradition, we take care in-house of the production of most of the raw materials, such as bread and sauces, used in our products.
Environmental Sustainability
Alba Tramezzini strongly believes in sustainability and safeguarding our planet. Therefore, we strive to reduce the company’s impact on the environment. We have optimized energy consumption in our factories with photovoltaic plant systems that guarantee an important daily reduction of C02 emissions into the atmosphere. Also, with respect to the environment, we use recycled or recyclable raw materials for all our packaging, with more than 90% recycled cardboard and minimum 50% recycled plastic..
Our production
Our bread is made and baked by Master Bakers Every day in our production facilities.
The doughs, long leavening and clean recipes allow us to add high value to our filled products:

We started with little but like today, even then, we had a big goal in mind.
Innovation
The company’s success also lies in the modern and brand new structure inaugurated in 2009 and built according to the most current standards. The production capacity becomes approximately 50,000 pieces per production shift and most of the processes are entirely automated. All raw materials such as bread, mayonnaise and finished products are also produced in this new factory. Everything happens with the utmost respect for the environment and environmental sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources coming from a latest generation photovoltaic system installed above the roof of its factories.
Tailor-made products
Our technologies and above all the internalized production of most of the raw materials that make up our products, allows us to best respond to the needs of our customers, allowing us to sometimes create a tailor-made product. Thanks to our experience, we offer our customers the possibility of producing, even under their own brand, a fresh or frozen product of the highest Italian quality designed according to their needs and those of their reference market.
